FAQs

How long will the make-up last?

Although pigment molecules stay in the skin indefinitely the colour remains visible for several years. This is variable depending upon the client’s age, skin type, colour choice and lifestyle. In many case it is suggested that you have a renewal procedure around 12 months to keep the look complete and fresh. A ‘renewal’ is half the treatment price for the 1 appointment.

Is the procedure painful?

Every client is different but with advanced new equipment and techniques, discomfort is minimal. We use topical anaesthetics to control pain tolerance.

Do I have a choice on placement and colour?

Definitely. The client is in control every step of the way from desired shape to colour selection. We work together to make it perfect for you.

How long will the procedure take?

You should allow a minimum of one and a half hours for a new procedure.

Will I be able to go out without everyone noticing?

After a procedure the area treated will be darker and more intense. This will last for a few days until the area exfoliates, then it will fade and the true colour will emerge. Generally it is only you who will notice the darker colour.

What about after care?

You will be given a comprehensive after care guide at the end of the treatment which may include after care ointment, and also verbal instructions throughout the procedure.
